Day 1
Kota Kinabalu

Arrive at Kota Kinabalu and transfer to the hotel.

Day at leisure. Overnight at Kota Kinabalu.

Day 2
Kota Kinabalu – Kinabalu National Park

After breakfast,  a full day excursion will take you through Kinabalu National Park, where over a thousand species of orchids, rhododendrons and pitcher plants will delight the botanist in you.

You will also see several species of beautiful and exotic birds. Take a walk through the jungle, visit the exhibition hall and watch a presentation on the Kinabalu National Park and Mount Kinabalu. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the park. Stay overnight at Kota Kinabalu.

Day 3
Kota Kinabalu – City Tour – Miri

After breakfast, take a tour around the city of Kota Kinabalu. See the panoramic view of Kota Kinabalu from the highest point of Mt. Kinabalu. See Likas Bay, an exclusive residential area. Visit the exterior of the unique glass shrouded tower of 72 sides, the Sabah Foundation building, the State Museum, State Mosque, a Buddhist Temple and the water village. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Miri. Arrive and transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4
Miri – Niah National Park – Kuching

After breakfast, depart for a full day tour of Niah National Park which is world famous the oldest human remains in Southeast Asia, dating back some 40,000 years. Explore the Niah Caves, go back in time at the Museum on the history of Niah and see the tall bamboo poles, which were once used to collect birds’ nests, a Chinese delicacy. Have lunch at the restaurant. Return to Miri and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kuching. Arrive and transfer to your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 5
Kuching – Semen Gok Orang Utan – Longhouse

After breakfast, visit the Semong Gok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre that houses the orangutans, honey bears and other protected species of wildle rescued from captivity. Leave for an overnight stay at a guesthouse located beside an Iban longhouse. Be welcomed by the natives of the Iban tribe and learn about their daily activities. Enjoy a delicious dinner and meet the Headman of the longhouse. Be entertained by graceful ceremonial dances. Overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 6
Longhouse – Kuching

After breakfast, you have the morning free to see a blow-pipe demonstration or go on a nature walk. Return to Kuching. Overnight.

Day 7
Kuching – City Tour

After breakfast, go on a half-day tour of Kuching City. Visit the Margherita, built by Rajah Charles Brooke in 1878 as a token of love to his we, the oldest Chinese temple in Kuching, Tua Pek Kong Temple and the Sarawak Museum – reputed to be the best Museum in Southeast Asia. Tour ends with a transfer to the airport.
